Dashboard feature overview
Date picker
You can click on the calendar icon or the dates in the top right corner of the Analytics page to update the date range of the data displayed. The default is the last 30 days. The date range selected is based on your browser’s time zone.
You can select different dates using the 2 calendars or type in the dates using the input boxes at the top. You can also use the quicklinks along the left as shortcuts. Be sure to click "Apply" on the bottom right after your dates are selected!
Filter by carriers
In the upper right corner you can also filter your data by which carriers you want to be displayed in the data set. Be sure to click "Apply" when you are done.
Shipping trends charts
The shipping trends charts include total labels or total cost (depending on what you click) over the time period set in the date picker. Labels included here are your EasyPost production labels with purchased rates in USD. You can use the shipping trends charts to identify and analyze historical shipping trends over the time period set in the date picker. You can take screenshots of the charts to efficiently summarize specific trends or metrics. Each feature on the shipping trends charts is described below:
Chart types
- View total labels over time: The default view shows the total labels over time. This displays a bar chart of the total labels over the date range selected.
- View total cost over time: You can click the Total cost tile at the top to display a bar chart of the total cost over the date range selected.
Chart features
- Identify the carriers that comprise the volume displayed in the chart: A legend will appear on the side of the chart mapping the colors in the charts to carriers. You can also hover over the chart to view an individual hour, day, or week’s carrier breakdown.
- On smaller screens (often touchscreen devices), the legend will be displayed on top of the chart instead.

- Change the chart’s granularity to an hour, day, week, month, or year: You can use this toggle on the bottom right to quickly update the chart’s granularity to an hour, day, week, month, or year, depending on the date range selected.
Shipping trends table
The shipping trends table displays the data comprising the shipping trends charts aggregated by carrier over the time period set in the date picker. You can use the shipping trends table to quickly find a specific carrier’s overall metrics.
- Sort - You can click the column headers/arrow to sort by a specific data point.

- How can I get to the dashboard?
The dashboard is the homepage for the EasyPost logged-in experience and the default landing page after logging in. To navigate to the dashboard from another page, click on the analytics tab. - How frequently does the dashboard update?
The dashboard updates every minute, but you will need to refresh the page to load the most recent data. - What timezone is the dashboard in?
The dashboard defaults to your browser timezone. - Does the dashboard display all shipment volume?
The dashboard displays only production shipments purchased with USD. Also, please note that refunded shipments are not deducted from the data. - Are there plans to add more widgets and functionality to the dashboard?
