You may have been receiving these emails from Canada Post:
This automated email means that Canada Post requires all shipments to be manifested and that these particular shipments indicated in the email have not been manifested. Shipments are considered un-manifested by the carrier when a scan form has not been created for them. You have two options to resolve this: 1) Manifest the shipments or 2) Void the shipments.
Manifesting Shipments
To manifest the shipments, you will add all unmanifested shipments to a batch and then manifest the batch. Within our system, we refer to manifests as scan forms. To batch or create a scan form please follow this documentation:
- How to batch: https://www.easypost.com/docs/api.html#batches
- How to scan form: https://www.easypost.com/docs/api.html#scan-form
Void Shipments
Note, for Canada Post you won't be able to request a refund once the shipment has been manifested. If you manifest the shipment and then decide to void or refund the shipment you will need to contact Canada Post directly to do so.
In EasyPost you can void/refund a label by requesting a refund on the shipment. To refund or void a shipment please follow this documentation:
- How to request a refund or void a shipment: https://www.easypost.com/docs/api/curl#refund-a-shipment
