What currency is used for Canada Post labels?
If you are using a Canada Post account created through EasyPost all labels will be paid for in USD from your EasyPost Wallet. If you purchase labels through your own personal Canada Post account, the labels will be paid in CAD directly to Canada Post.
You can differentiate the two types of Canada Post accounts by verifying which tab the account is located under in the Carrier Accounts section of the EasyPost dashboard. If it is under “EasyPost Carrier Accounts” the payment is in USD. If it is under “My Carrier Accounts” the payment is in CAD.
What Canada Post service levels are discounted through EasyPost?
All Canada Post service levels available through EasyPost are discounted from their standard retail rate. For example, if you were to purchase a Priority™ shipping label through the EasyPost platform, it would be cheaper than if you were to purchase one at a Canada Post post office.
Who is eligible to receive the Canada Post discounted rates?
All EasyPost users qualify for these discounted rates without any hidden fees, contracts, or volume minimums! These rates even extend to the end-users of our Platform partners.
