The most reliable method for funding your EasyPost account is via ACH bank transfers. Bank accounts don't expire, seldom change account numbers and are very rarely stolen (unlike credit card information). Of note, EasyPost only supports US-based bank accounts.
ACH transfers can take between 3-5 business days for the funds to be transferred from your bank account and into your EasyPost account. Below are some best practices to ensure that your account is always properly funded and your shipping is never interrupted due to a lack of funds.
- Set your recharge threshold to at least twice your estimated 5 day spend. If you usually spend $5,000 every 5 days on postage, make sure your recharge threshold is set to $10,000.
- Set your recharge amount to at least your 5 day estimated spend.

How to Update
You can update your recharge threshold/amount two different ways: through the your Dashboard or through the API:
