Here are some things to know about creating Veho shipping labels using the EasyPost API.
Service Area
Veho currently operates in 27 markets across the US with more areas coming soon. The from and to address zip codes should both be within the Veho service area. Veho provides a list of serviced zip codes to EasyPost regularly. If the destination address zip code falls outside of the Veho service area you may not get Veho rates or be able to purchase a Veho shipping label.
Service Levels
Veho offers two service levels, Next Day and Same Day. When rating a Veho shipment via the EasyPost API these two service levels will be displayed as `nextday` and `sameday` respectively.
Label Format
Veho supports three different label_formats (see Shipment Options):
- PNG
- ZPL
More Shipment Options
There are two Shipment Options that we use to map to fields in the Veho API:
print_custom_1
(string) maps to Vehorequest_data.externalId
(though it looks like if you have areference
on your shipment, this will take precedence overprint_custom_1
handling_instructions
(string) maps to Vehorequest_data.instructions
Manifesting
There is no manifesting requirement when creating shipping labels with Veho. When a shipping label is created via EasyPost the user will not be "charged" for it until they actually deliver the label to the carrier.
